iPads vs Text Books- Crunching the numbers

Nowadays children spend most of their time on computers, laptops or tablet devices instead of reading the text books. Also most of the books are now available online for free in e-book format and thus effecting the use of text books. iPads are in great demand in schools and colleges to make the studies more interesting among youth. Acer Unveils Aspire A5, ‘World’s Thinnest’ Ultrabook


LAS VEGAS — Ultrabooks — compact and powerful Windows laptops — were promised to be big at CES 2012, and the show just saw Acer draw first blood in the category. Today the PC maker unveiled the Aspire A5, which Acer claims is the world’s thinnest Ultrabook. That may be true, but unveilings are happening fast and furious at CES, and the A5 could lose the crown at any time.

Gaming laptop, is it possible?


Overview
Just a few years ago it was impossible to load the latest game into the best available laptop. Somehow it seemed that Dell, Compaq, Acer, HP, Apple, but also the graphic card designers like Ati and Nvidia, as well as Intel, which provides many graphic accelerators for laptops, have decided that if you want gaming, you better purchase a desktop computer. There was no way to replace a graphic card in a laptop and the technology was developing so fast, that when you start manufacturing a motherboard for a laptop, the integrated graphic card is already outdated, even if you download the latest driver supporting the latest direct x release.
