Micromax launches Gingerbread powered Bolt A35
Micromax launches new series of feature phones called Bolt with introduction of new phone Bolt A35. The Bolt A35 is powered by Google's Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) OS. Bolt A35 supports a 10.1 cm full-capacitive Multi touch screen and runs on a 1 GHz processor.

HTC Justifies Why They Won't Let Upgrade Desire HD To Android 4.0
HTC has removed the Desire HD from the upgrade list of Android 4.0 and they have justified their decision by explaining why they are not in favor of the upgrade. According to them there are certain technical difficulties which are avoiding the Desire HD to upgrade to new Ice Cream Sandwich.

Amazing Alex - Game Review (From the makers of The Angry Birds)
Till now Rovio Mobile has been entertaining us with their most famous birds and pigs game called Angry Birds and now they have come up with another entertainer called Amazing Alex. The Amazing Alex is a kind of puzzle game which will keep you interested in it.
This game revolves around a kid named Alex who treat everything as if it is an adventure. All you need to do is to setup chain reactions among various objects you will encounter like books, boxes, balls etc to complete the task. While completing up the task you may also have to collect stars.
There are 2 stages in each level, one for building up or arranging the objects and the other one being the execution stage to check whether you can collect the stars with this arrangement or not.
Amazing Alex may prove to be amazing with 100 levels and 35 interactive objects and a Cute Alex and various number of ways to complete each level. This game is available in at both Android and iOS and is priced at 0.99$.

"100 Floors" Android Game Review
"100 Floors" is an amazing puzzle game on the Android platform. This Android game is an interesting and challenging game for some sharp brains who love to play with puzzles.
100 Floors provides the player with a challenge to open up a door at each level or floor in the game. The game gets tougher as the levels progresses. While going through the levels players may have to face several problems in opening the doors. Each problem initiates the player to think about solving the problem in new and innovative way and also keep a close eye on each and every crucial hint that may be needed to solve the problem.

Halfbrick Acquires Onan Games to Port Fruit Ninja Everywhere

Australia’s Halfbrick Studios, creators of Fruit Ninja, has just acquired Spain’s Onan Games, developers of the Mandreel technology for porting games across platforms from a single C++ code base. The buy will let Halfbrick efficiently deliver its games to iOS, Android, and Facebook while making other studios pay it to do the same.
By using Mandreel to quickly launch its chart-topping native mobile games on the web and HTML5 as well as collect licensing fees, Halfbrick could boost revenues while keeping the team agile. Like a clan of ninjas…that dine only on fruit.

An App Store For Banned Android Apps is under Construction
An Android developer by the name of Kousik Dutta is building an alternative Android app store which will house the apps that have been banned from Google’s official Android Market. These will include the custom ROMs (customized versions of the Android OS), classic gaming emulators pulled due to copyright complaints, unofficial tethering apps removed at the behest of mobile operators, Visual Voicemail apps, one-click rooting apps, and more.
The developer, who also goes by the name “Koush” online, suggested the idea earlier this month and received hundreds of positive responses in return. Today, he has posted a progress update, showing an early version of the store being built. (See below).

Don 2 the game trailer [video]
The much awaited bollywood movie "Don 2" by Sharukh khan is releasing soon but the game based on the movie has already been launched for android and iOS. The Sharukh khan has started a new trend by launching a video or mobile game for each of its movie. He has previously launched games for the promotion of his flick "Ra.One" and has done it again for "Don 2". And i seriously hope that this game is not a bad one like the "Ra.One" game. Google Activates 3.7 million devices over Christmas weekend
Google's Andy Rubin says that Android activations reached 3.7 million devices over Christmas, but a breakdown of numbers shows that Apple's Christmas activations may almost double Google's.
Not long ago, Google revealed that it is activating 700,000 Android devices per day. Well, Christmas has been kind to Android. Andy Rubin, head of Android, Tweeted that 3.7 million Android devices were activated on Dec. 24-25, meaning a lot of people got new phones for Christmas.
